Playstop.ca Pricing Policy
All prices are in Canadian dollars and include Shipping. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Please rest assured that all transmissions of sensitive information is encrypted using industry standard technologies (128bit SSL - Secure Sockets Layer encryption).
Your Account
Before making a purchase on the Playstop.ca website you will need to create an account. The information you submit is kept strictly confidential and it is used for the sole purpose of facilitating easier checkout process. Also with your unique account, you will always be able to track your orders and get status updates continuously. You will also have the ability to modify your profile such as your shipping address, email, password, etc.
Online Orders
Placing an order on the playstop.ca web site is easy! Simply follow these steps: Search for an Artist or Title for CD's or Title for DVD's by using the search function which is available throughtout the site on the top left hand corner.When you find a title that you would like to purchase, click on 'Add to Cart' to add this item to your cart. Before you can add the first item to your cart, you will be asked to log in to your account using your email and password which you would have setup when you first created the account with us. If you don't have an account, you will have to create one before proceeding. Please note that creating an account does not commit you to making a purchase. Once logged in, you will be able to view the content of your shopping cart and the following options will be available for you:
  • Select 'Submit Order' to proceed with the checkout
  • Click on the 'Delete' icon to remove the corresponding item from your cart
  • Change the Quantity for an item and click on the 'Update Order' button to refresh your cart.
When you are happy with the content of your cart, you can then proceed.
Advance Ordering
Playstop.ca offers you the option of pre-ordering an upcoming new release. This allows you to receive an eagerly anticipated new CD or DVD on its release date. Here's how:

The earlier you place the order with us, the more likely you are to recive the product by street date. The ordering process for a pre-order is exactly the same as any other title.

Although most new titles are released as scheduled, some may be postponed due to unforseen scheduling changes, manufacturing problems or delivery delays from manufacturers. Also, although rare, a new release may be sold out on its release date. In cases such as these, the item will be placed in a backorder status and shipped when available.

Mail & Fax Orders
We do accept orders mailed or faxed to us. Each order must include:
  • your name
  • your address (no P.O. Boxes)
  • your daytime phone number
For each item ordered, please be sure to include the following information:
  • the product UPC
  • artist (if audio)
  • title
  • price
  • Quantity
Please print clearly to ensure that your order is processed correctly.

You can pay by Visa, Mastercard, Cheque, gift card, or Money Order.

If using credit card, please be sure to include your card number, expiry date and your signature.
Note: If your signature does not accompany the order, it will not be processed.

If paying by cheques or money orders, they should be made payable to 'Entertainment One Limited Partnership'. Personal cheques may lengthen time of delivery. (The order will be shipped when your cheque clears.) Post-dated cheques will not be accepted.

Note: If you pay by cheque or money order and we are unable to supply the item(s) you ordered, we will issue a credit note towards an alternate purchase.
We regret that we cannot give cash refunds. We also do not accept C.O.D. orders.

Back Orders
You will be notified if an item is out of stock or has become unavailable. You can choose another title of equal value, or place the item on back order. Back orders will be kept for a period of 30 days.
Payment Options
Playstop.ca accepts credit cards (Visa and Mastercard) Your credit card will be charged only at time of shipment.

Our website is secure, however, if you are still not comfortable submitting your credit card information over the Internet, then please fax or mail your order.

Playstop.ca strives to satisfy you, our customer. Any unopened item(s) may be returned to us for a full online credit. Defective items will be replaced with an identical title. Please return the unplayable item(s).
If you receive a CD jewel case that is cracked or damaged, let us know and we'll send a replacement.
Playstop Gift Card Program
Currently, Playstop Gift Cards are redeemable online. Balances on Playstop Gift Cards may be checked online at Playstop.ca.

Playstop Gift Card Policy:
  • Cards may be issued with an amount between $10.00 and $5,000.00
  • Cards are only redeemable for merchandise
  • Cards have no cash value
  • Cards are valid on our web site.
